Proverbs 22:7
“The borrower is servant to the lender.”
My finances
God cares for your provision and teaches you to manage with wisdom.
Proverbs 22:7
“The borrower is servant to the lender.”
Philippians 4:19
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Luke 14:28
“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost?”
Proverbs 21:5
“The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness.”
The Bible doesn't condemn work or money, but warns against the bondage of debt. Jesus, in Luke 14, praises planning before action. Faith and a spreadsheet aren't opposites: trusting God includes honestly managing what's already in your hands.
Do you know exactly what you owe and to whom? Truth sets you free in finances too.
Practice today
List all your debts today with amounts and deadlines, and pray over the list.
Lord, you know my situation. Give me wisdom to organize, discipline to cut what's unnecessary, and provision to honor my commitments. In Jesus' name, amen.
